As an employee in Egypt, there are additional steps that you must complete during your onboarding.
1. Book an appointment at one of our local offices
After you have signed up to Deel, you must visit one of our offices in person and bring your mandatory onboarding documents. Use the following links to book an appointment:
During your appointment we will review your documents, sign your employment agreement and provide you with forms for you to complete and sign.
Please note: we are required to keep the original copies of most of your documents. Make sure you scan or take pictures of the signed and completed documents, as you will need to upload them to the Compliance Documents section of the Deel platform.
2. Prepare your documents
Prepare and bring the following documents to your appointment:
- Employment agreement: three (3) copies, download the agreement from the Deel platform and print the copies, reviewed and signed in wet-ink.
- Passport-size photo: six (6) copies.
- Criminal Record document الفيش الجنائي”: one (1) copy, to request from your local police station.
Obtaining your criminal record document usually takes 2-3 days, 24 hours if a fast-track service is available. - Work Footer “كعب العمل”፡ one (1) copy, to request from your local labor office.
- National ID Card: bring your original national ID and one (1) scanned copy of it.
- Original Educational Certificate: one (1) copy of your most recent degree or diploma.
- Original Birth Certificate: one (1) copy.
- Original Military Certificate: one (1) copy, required from all male employees under the age of 60 - if you don’t have one, bring a document proving you are exempt from military service or that it was postponed.
3. Go to the appointment
During your scheduled appointment, you will receive the following documents to review and sign:
- Form 1 Social Insurance
- Form 111 Health Insurance Authority
You will receive one of the signed employee agreements and you will need to take the Form 111 Health Insurance Authority with you.
4. Get your approved Form 111
After signing and obtaining the Form 111, book an appointment with your local health insurance authority by calling 19806 from any phone or 2363 from mobile phones.
Bring your completed Form 111 to your appointment. You will then receive a signed and approved document. Scan or take a picture of the final signed and approved document to upload it to the platform to complete your onboarding. We will reach out to you with instructions on how to send the original form back to our office.
5. Upload the documents to the Compliance Documents section
Upload the scanned copies or the pictures you have taken of all the required documents to the Compliance Documents section of the Deel platform.
